If you haven’t already guessed, this particular version of a movie titled “Animals” is another werewolf film featuring the beautiful Nicki Aycox. I have never really possessed a special affinity for Nicki Aycox. She was alright in Joyride 2 and Jeepers Creepers 2, but those were both pretty bad sequels. The movie Animals as a whole wasn’t all that great, but Nicki Aycox had a lot of nude screen time. And when she wasn’t on screen, the other lead female played by the gorgeous Eva Amurri Martino, graced us with her presence. Although Eva Amurri does have a very hot sex scene where she gets down to her bra and panties, but after Eva Amurri removes them nothing is really shown. Which is kinda weird, must have been a money or contract thing, because Eva Amurri had no problem and look spectacular going nude in Californication.
Like every single werewolf movie ever made, Animals centers on a small town, a down and out working man (Jarrett), and the local bar tended by Eva Amurri’s character who has her eyes set on Jarrett. Enter Nicki Aycox who plays a werewolf who is a sex slave to the werewolf that made her. Nicki Aycox’s character is forced to prostitute herself in order to lure her would be suitors to their demise at the hands of her master. At the beginning of Animals it establishes that Nicki Aycox’ character tried to escape her captor many times and he always finds her and kills the man she is with. So when Nicki Aycox sees Jarrett at the end of the bar, she immediately goes up to him and him to buy her a shot.
Nicki Aycox immediately goes from shots at the bar, to dancing and back to Jarrett’s house. Nicki Aycox then has two fairly extended and loud sex scenes. First she pushes Jarrett into a chair, then Nicki Aycox’ character goes between Jarrett’s legs and bounces her head gently up and down as if she were giving a blowjob. After about 30 seconds of simulated oral sex, Nicki Aycox crawls up Jarrett’s body and straddles him. She takes off her top and her panties and is left wearing a bra. Nicki Aycox then reaches between her legs and adjusts her body as if she is putting his penis inside her. She grabs Jarrett’s hand and puts it over her heart, then Nicki Aycox starts using his hand to massage her breast as she starts to rapidly gyrate her hips on top of him.
Flash forward to the next morning and Nicki Aycox is in the kitchen making breakfast or something, wearing nothing but Jarrett’s t-shirt. Then they begin playing with each other and Nicki Aycox’ character tries to get Jarrett to bite her. He won’t. And then whimpers and whines about the cuts and bruises she gave him last night. She of course calls him a pussy and then it’s on. Nicki Aycox pulls down his pants and Jarrett takes off Nicki Aycox’ shirt. This time they’re both fully nude. He then sits up on the kitchen counter and lifts Nicki Aycox up by the waist and places her spread legs around his lap. After a little while of adjusting her hips over his dick, Nicki Aycox starts slowly grinding and continues for several more seconds.
Almost immediately afterwards the new power couple of the main character and Nicki Aycox’ character are back at the bar. Jarrett starts to change into a werewolf from the bite he received in the first sex scene. Nicki Aycox and Jarrett get into a fight and Jarrett takes his aggression out on the couple Nicki Aycox was hitting on to make him jealous. Jarrett punches the guy and he and Nicki Aycox leave the bar together, both completely turned on from what just happened. As the two are driving home in the rain, Nicki Aycox grabs the steering wheel and turns the car into an alley and jumps out. They are still fighting and most of the dialogue seems overly hyperbolic and out of place considering the length of their relationship.
Then Nicki Aycox slaps him for the 3rd time and Jarrett loses it. He grabs Nicki Aycox’ wet body and throws her on the hood of his red Firebird. He then pins Nicki Aycox’ arms above her head with one hand and as rain pours over both their bodies he uses his free hand to roughly massage her breasts underneath her wet skin tight top. Nicki Aycox then begs him to “show her what he’s got” and “do to her what he could never do before”. So Jarrett rips off Nicki Aycox’ shirt and begins to kiss her slick, shiny boobs. He again picks up Nicki Aycox off the hood of the car, still kissing her tits and with her legs straddling his waist he moves her up against a brick wall. With Nicki Aycox six feet off the ground and her legs now around his neck Jarrett simulates performing oral sex on her. Once again this is another extended scene that lasts several minutes.
She’s actually not even done yet. Nicki Aycox has one more sex scene in the kitchen before her boyfriend comes back to get her. When her boyfriend comes back, takes her and locks Nicki Aycox in a cage, Jarrett finally hooks up with the bartender played by Eva Amurri Martino. Jarrett and Eva Amurri’s character go back to her place and start kissing. Then Jarrett removes Eva Amurri’s shirt and they continue kissing and fondling each other while she is just wearing a bra and panties. Then he oddly takes off her underwear and they begin to have simulated sex. But the director does that thing where their bodies are pressed right up against each other or there’s an arm always in the way, but you never actually see all of Eva Amurri nude.
Then it’s revealed that Eva Amurri’s character is actually a were wolf too. So Nicki Aycox and Eva Amurri fight over the guy and it’s all very cliche. Throughout this entire movie, the whole werewolf thing was barely focused on. I guess they established some basic rules, like you have to rip out their heart to kill them or something. But in reality, The fact that Eva Amurri and Nicki Aycox were werewolves was completely immaterial to the story. This was just a love triangle, revenge movie, with some editing it could be a Lifetime movie.
